INFINITE- STRIDER HIRYU
INFINITE STRIDER HIRYU

INFO- I wanted to do a Hiryu that was more about the ability's of Hiryu and less about his striker/assist that he has. i also wanted him to play differently. SO I added new moves, sounds, and effects to Splode's Hiryu. I also redcoded many things in him. tHIS

Nice work, he's better than other hiryu and not cheated like holy hiryu.You're just magic and i definitelly want my roster with your editing style.
Some feedback after a quick test:
1) Color's problem on mini portrait
2) Animation on continue screen turns in loop
3)His ground "Excalibur High" with lp is maybe too high if he doesn't hit enemy
4)Cypher Crash- 560 dmg
Ragnarok- 500 dmg
Super Ragnarok- 434 dmg
Maybe change damages between "cyber crrash" & "super ragnarok"

Yeah the small portrait is having an issue on this end as well. Other than that, I think he just needs to run a bit faster. Seems like he runs a little too slow... all in all, he's better than any other Hiryu out there hands down!

I seem to be having some trouble with Hiryu. Sometimes my MUGEN just quits when I hit a F,D,DF + kick move (mostly when clsn hits grounded)
This happened on multiple occasions in 2vs2's but also in 1vs1's. Will run debug and see if I can come up with something.

I think the Cypher crash does a bit to much damage.

Feedback.
-Some animations are either wrong, look jittery, or are too fast/slow. Point in case; Your Strider's Standing LK has a 2-frame startup, and I'm sure it wasn't that fast in the original game. Another one; Strider's animation when he stops running (101). Animelem 3 is wrong.
-Landing state's (52) animation is extremely long. 16 frames for a landing animation is too much.
-Not a big fan of how you handled his dash/run. Seems Strider doesn't have any momentum at the start of the dash, because he should have. Strider has always had great mobility. He doesn't have it here.
-Throw is mis-aligned;-At times, I can't double jump from his super jump. You'll have to hard code the double jump if you want to jump consistently from a super jump, because Mugen gets confused.
- Spoiler:
-Pretty sure that walking animation is mis-aligned. Look at Syn's Strider for reference.
-HP/HK versions of Gram go full-screen. And have quick recovery. Ugh.
-Nice job coding his QCF+KK super. Any time the opponent is in blockstun, if I perform the super, it's unblockable! Hell, it's unblockable up close!
That's all I'll do for now. You should probably use another Strider as a reference.

the best fuckin strider hiryu ever invented!! you make the best characters ever!! i dont think even original creators can compare to your awesomeness. seriously keep up the awesome work!! haha one question though..is there a way to to make him playable in winmugen?? bcuz mugen 1.0 crashes alot right now and winmugen works just fine and i really want to play with him in arcade. ive only practiced with him in mugen 1.0. so is there a way to make him playable in winmugen?

1.0 crashes A LOT??? I've only had that problem in Winmugen! Since I made the switch, I haven't had that problem at all... I don't think Infinite's gonna make him compatible WM tho... Maybe...

If you dash and then stop, there is a lag time that leaves wide open for an attack.

Really awesome Strider, thanks! Would REALLY love to see you make an Infinite Strider HIEN! That would be so awesome to have a Hien that can compete with Hiryu. He seems much rarer than Hiryu, and the only one I know of is the one made by K3nShiN and it's not the greatest.

When enemy does an hyper that begin by a rush, if you try to evade by regular dodge, he just pushs you instead of passing through. If your dodge finish before his rush you take the hyper.
