Letting down all kinds of fans, and just plain fuckin up! UMVC3 is an absolute failure, having sold under 300.000 copies in the states. For a vs game, That SUCKS!! MVC2 DESTROYED this in sales in it's first week! Not to mention the 2009 re-release for X-Box 360 and PSN...

Thats why I don't buy any new capcom games anymore. Namco is still a decent company I hope tekken tag 2 will be a good game as well. soul calibur 5 is ok not the best but I still play it sometimes.

UMVC3 is a piece of shit... You're better off without it. They took a great game franchise, and made a mockery of it... Capcom can rot and disappear for all I care... Then to make matters worse, they release SFxT and expect us to buy 12 new characters! The nerve of them is beyond bold, and just plain greedy... Their sales numbers have dropped tremendously, and they act as if they don't know why! Seth Killian, and others have jumped ship because the company is sinking slowly. They gave DMC to Ninja theory whom are OBVIOUSLY fucking up the series. NO ONE LIKES what they're doing to that franchise at all! They've completely ruined Dante's back story, and have no intentions of stopping this train wreck of a project despite what the majority of their fans say, which only further shows that Capcom doesn't give a damn about what any of us think, feel, or want... So unless this company makes a complete 180, I will NEVER buy another Capcom game for as long as I draw breath...

I agree what some things said and respect everyone's opinion, but here are my thoughts (and if folks dont like them, whatever, thats why it's MY opinion)....

I LIKE UMVC3... I like it more than SFxT. Once I learned the buttons and adapted to the gameplay system I enjoyed it. only thing i hated about it is keep away players... it isnt a fun style to play, play against, or spectate...

I do agree about the lack of blacks in Capcom games, and the ones they have fit the stereotypes (boxer, jamaican dancer, african princess, etc..) they definitely couldve added Bishop, Black Panther, or Blade to the game. even the black guy from Cadillacs & Dinosaurs wouldve been cool.... i will admit rebuying it was a pain, but for me it was worth it, since i already traded Vanilla in when i found out that it was comin out so for me it worked out....

for the record.... i could give 2 shits and a dingleberry about megaman.... Zero is way better!!! theres enough people in the game who run away and shoot people.... megaman sucks... get over it and learn something new.

Mega Man Legends 3 was not smart... I hope they do come up with something to remedy that.....

I would love to support SNK Playmore, but until they fix the netcode of KOF XIII not alot of people will play it, even though it is WAY BETTER than SSFIVAE2012 and ill say its better than SFxT. from what I've seen, SCV has the best netcode....

THe sad thing is that it will never end.... there is still enough people to buy the games that they wont even miss a couple of "boycotts." I think you should buy the games because you like them, not because of the reputation and choices of the company.

1: UMVC3 is a JOKE... The gameplay of SFxT is far better. Not many people I know ever cared to adapt to that ridiculous button layout, including me. Keep away characters are only the beginning of this games problems. The balancing is horrible, and you could literally bounce others around to their deaths a little too easily. Not to mention X-Factor... Random attacks on one button... Man, bottom line this game is a piece of shit...

2: We definitely agree on the lack of Blacks in fighting games. Stereotypes are always the route these game companies seem to wanna take. They seem to think that Capoeira, Boxing, and sometimes Muai-Thai are all we're capable of knowing! They even took Sean from us!! lol He was originally from NY, next thing you know, he's Brazilian!! And not only that, they made him of Hispanic and Japanese decent! DAMN! Who the fuck cares about basketball in Brazil anyway...? IT'S SOCCER!!!! Anyway, I guess Blacks can't be disciplined enough to be like Ryu huh...? Anyway, people rebuying UMVC3 did nothing but tell them that it's ok to fuck us all over again and again. I don't care what anyone says, this could easily have been a downloadable update patch. IT'S 2012!!

3: I ain't the biggest Megaman fan myself, but the fact being he's the very reason Capcom exists, should be more than enough to have him in! Not to mention he's a huge fan favorite. Fans are the people who BUY THEIR GAMES! And they wonder their sales for this game were horrendous... Zero IS a Great character, but there would have been nothing wrong with having both. Think of the team up possibilities! Having balance is a good way to pan out the shooting aspect of Megaman. This game is clearly lacking in that department BIG TIME...!

4: What's wrong with being comfortable with characters you like!? And as for the play style, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Capcom broke the shit out of these controls man! Although I liked MVC2's play style, I'd prefer MVC1. 6-Buttons will ALWAYS be superior any day of the week! That's like the blueprint to having a great capcom styled fighting game! No true Capcom fighting game fan likes to NOT have control over his kicks and punches. THAT SUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!! In UMVC3, you just have to take whatever attack comes from that particular button, and live with it. That's fucked up! What if I wanna do an all kick combo? Or an all punch combo? Or mix things up to my liking!? Oh! Can't do that, because Capcom decided to make attack buttons, instead of definite punches and kicks... Ken not being in MVC3 was just fucking retarded... An opportunity to try something new is a poor excuse considering all the characters that both universes have to offer that DIDN'T make it into the game...!

5: There's nothing funny about people getting pissed about remakes. You need to understand that back in the 80's there was no internet. And even in the late 90's and early 2000's, the internet wasn't used very much in video games, let along having DLC. SSF4 and SF4AE were DLC, updates. Why the fuck couldn't they do that with UMVC3!!? Oh that's right... THEY COULD HAVE!! Greedy bastards...! And the reason people complained about 40 characters is because they wanna see PROGRESS! No one wants to go in reverse! From 56 to 40 is pretty stupid in my opinion. That's 16 characters we lost! 16!!!! Dude that's A LOT!! As far as I'm concerned, Mugen is the single GREATEST thing that could have ever happened to fighting games. So long as you have the knowledge, you can do whatever the fuck you want...!

6: That fat Megaman, and Pacman WAS an incredibly STUPID idea on their part...! However, Megaman-X would have been nice! Karin and Makoto should have been on the list from day 1, along with R-Mika, Alex, Haggar, Fei Long, Bruce, Anna, and a bunch of others from both sides. I think Capcom is lazy as all hell, and paying for characters that are already on disc is just highway robbery like a mutha-fucka!! lol Making new playable characters and having us pay for them as they release them would have been cool, but the way they're doing it is truly underhanded, and criminal... Guess I'll never have the full game...

DMC: Fuck that! Emo Dante looks like shit! And on top of that, they went and changed his entire background! From what I hear, the controls suck elephant balls, and the game is a Beyonetta clone. No matter what, I ain't buying it, or anything else from Capcom until they change their business tactics...

What's wrong with having a new Dark stalkers and a new Project justice? they're both great series...

Cancelling MML3 was the single most DUMBEST idea next to MVC3/UMVC3. Like I said earlier... They wonder why the entire company's loosing millions by the day...

As for SNK, they're cool with me. I just hate the fact that they turn their backs on many of their characters who would definitely make great updates. Same with Capcom and their SF1 cast. They would all make nice updates, and a great addition to the current SF roster...

It's sad because I see no end to Capcom's bullshit any time soon. People are gonna continue to be dumbass, idiotic, selfish, drones that can't see the bigger picture. Fuck supporting a game because you like it. If that game you like comes from a company that couldn't give a rats ass about what you think, why support it!? To support one game means to support the entire company! And it's because of this, they're gonna continue to make shitty ass games, and sell us characters and content that's already on the discs.

It's been proven... When enough people speak up, companies listen! But when people continue to buy into bullshit, there's no need for a clean up crew... So yeah, keep buying Capcom games because you like them. Just remember, we all suffer because of it... REAL TALK...!

I've never been into the whole survivor horror thing, but I can definitely say that these new RE games don't look or play anything like the originals. And you're right! The new one does look like {Call of evil} rather than resident evil. Lost planet is a good franchise. We can only hope that they continue to do it justice. Honestly, you should be done with Capcom anyway! Just look at what they've become. A lazy, money hungry mockery, and shell of what they used to be...! I often wonder why anyone supports them now days. As for me, I ain't ever buying another capcom game EVER unless these underhanded business tactics change.
